Billy Douglas "Bud" Mayfield- Minister of Music
Billy Douglas "Bud" Mayfield was born on August 21, 1939. He gave his life to Christ as a young child and was baptized on April 16, 1967 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. He became the interim Minister of Music in 1995 and still hold this position to this day.
Bud got married August 11, 1962 to his one and only wife, Armelia "Mandy" Lawson. They have one child, their daughter, Misty Latrell Mayfield Solesbee, which is the church pianist.
Misty Mayfield Solesbee- Church pianist
Misty Solesbee has been attending Hillcrest Baptist Church her whole life. She accepted the Lord as her Saviour and became a member of the church when she was 10 years old. Misty studied piano for eight years, beginning at the age of 8, under the direction of Debbie McKinney. In 1995, she became the interim pianist for Hillcrest and has been playing for the church since that time.
Misty and her husband, Brian Solesbee, have two children, their daughter, Karsyn and their son, Zachary.
